We know the Word of God is true. Giving is part of worship and knowing we can trust God to provide for us. In Malachi chapter 3 God says when we give tithes and offerings, He will open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing we don't even have room to receive and that He would rebuke the devourer for our sake! That is a tremendous promise and giving to God helps the local church and stores up treasures in heaven. People are saved, changed, and delivered and God is worshipped and honored. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
